Mercedes premiere access with 90 HP

The range of Mercedes class A and class B will be expanded imminently with the introduction of new versions of access, as well as a new version with 4MATIC four-wheel. The main novelty is the addition of a version of access to the class A and class B, which will be called A 160 CDI and B 160 CDI respectively. This version will be the first step of the ranges turbodiesel power. The chosen propulsion unit is a block of 1.461 DC origin Renault, which also moves the to 180 CDI and B 180 CDI.
Its power is 90 HP with a maximum torque of 220 Nm between the 1,750 and 2,750 rpm. They arent impressive values, but what is sought in versions of access is a contained price and low consumption. The benefits are very discrete: the 0 to 100 km/h for A 160 CDI takes 13.8 seconds and for B 160 CDI talk of 14.0 seconds. Both speeds are at 180 km/h, but in terms of the consumption of diesel, class A complies with 3.8 l / 100 km. It is a very good value resulting in a CO2 emissions of 99 g/km.
